Mission

I’m working to relate neurobiology to other fields. Such may bear on AI, the Arts, History, Literature, modern culture. For example, self driving vehicles, medical diagnostic programs, robots, will require human supervision for the foreseeable future. Could it be the rote algorithmic rote programs lack the awake mindful decision making of biological entities? Machines switched on are autonomous yet unconscious. Brains achieve conscious state through complex interactions between brainstem and cerebral cortex, driven by the urgency of life and death.
